Sources are sought from industry with the technical expertise to provide ICBM launch support services for the 576th Flight Test Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA. The contractor shall provide non-personal mission essential services to ensure on time test launches of Minuteman and Peacekeeper Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. The initial draft Statement Of Work (SOW) may be viewed on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site. Input is needed from industry to determine if these services can be procured using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) procedures. This procurement is being issued in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 and FAR Part 7.3 (Contractor versus Government Performance). The SIC Code is 9999, size standard is $5M. The intended contract will have one basic performance year commencing 1 Oct 00, with four additional one year options anticipated. This acquisition may be set aside for small business if two or more qualified small businesses are expected to submit proposals meeting the Government requirement.
