E-MAIL: Jerome G. Misch, jerry.misch@ssc.nasa.gov. NASA/SSC intends to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for support to the Commercial Remote Sensing Program (CRSP). CRSP provides assistance to U.S. companies in maintaining their technological and business leadership in this critical 21st century market and for bridging the understanding between NASA earth scientist and commercial industry for the agency Earth Science Enterprise. The CRSP is located at the John C. Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. CRSP is soliciting proposals for studies, research and analysis support in the following areas: Offerors shall be required to respond to a series of work tasks necessary to validate and verify pre-operational applications and market requirements for commercial remote sensing and baseline technologies. Offerors must demonstrate capabilities to address work tasks withing the emphasis areas of: Natural Resources, Disaster management, Environmental Quality, Urban, Energy and Infrastructure, Human Health and Safety, and Media. Offerors must demonstrate proven trackrecords in planning, conducting market research/requirements analysis, developing interagency and industry evaluations, developing metrics and assessing progress, influencing public information and educating target audiences. A 5-year firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 and NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. It is the responsibility of each offeror to monitor the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) at URL: http://procurement.nasa.gov/ for solicitation releases as the solicitation will be released as soon as practicable whether prior or subsequent to September 29, 1999.
