The requirement is for engineering resources for planning and coordinating the installation of Combat System and Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence Systems (C4I) in aircraft carriers, L-Class ships and other battlegroup or battleforce units. Evaluate design concepts and develop technical documentation to support these efforts on current and proposed Combat System and C4I programs. This requirement supports the Program Executive Office (PMS 312) at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Washington, D.C. and work will be performed in Crystal City, VA; Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; Bremerton, WA; Everett, WA; Mayport, FL; Yokosuka, JP. The proposed contract will have a base year with four (4) one-year options. The level of effort is estimated at 85,214 man-hours per year. The anticipated award date is 16 March 2000. The type of contract will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity. Current U.S. SECRET and appropriate facility clearance are required.
