KANEOHE BAY/CAMP SMITH TECHNOLOGY EXPOSITION Kaneohe Bay/Camp Smith and CINPAC will be hosting an On-Site Winter Technology Exposition on Friday, February 18, 2000. The event will be promoted to all Base personnel including: HQ-Commander in Chief Pacific, Marine Forces Pacific, Fleet Marine Forces Pacific, Special Operations Command, and the Joint Task Force-Full Accounting. Between 250-400 attendees will be expected, both military and civilian. Some of the requested technologies include a focus on communications equipment and software, data security, workstations, desktop publishing, presentation systems graphics, scanners, digitizing cameras, notebooks/laptops, multimedia, Y2K and contingency planning for Y2K, networking, deployable equipment, imaging, and video teleconferencing.
