No specific requirement exists at this time. Repair and overhaul effort of US ARMY T-55 Engine and the following 15 related major components: Nozzle 1st, Gearbox Access, Nozzle 2d, Actuator, Parts Kit, Disc Asc, Starter Drive, Vane 6th, Vane 1st, Vane, Vane 4th, Vane 5th, Liner Combust, Case & Stator and Nozzle Turbine. The US Army Aviation Command (AMCOM) is searching for contractors capable to perform the above listed services. The effort is to be performed in accordance with approved Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 55-2840-254-2 and associated approved AMCOM Engineering Directives (AED). Contractors must be able to: (1) to demonstrate required capabilities, (2) to own or have access to required special tools and equipment, (3) to obtain parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and, for Flight Safety Parts from Army approved sources. Capable contractor(s) must communicate their interest in writing, preferably via fax, no later than 15 Oct 1999. Communication must be on contractor's letterhead and must include name, telephone, and fax number. In addition, all interested parties must identify themselves as either a large or small business.
