The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center intends to issue a purchase order to Nabco, Inc. for the purchase of a Model 42 Total Containment Bomb Disposal Vessel. Vessel must be capable of repeated containment of fragmentation and over-pressure within the vessel from a detonation of up to 10 lbs. of C-4 explosives. Vessel must be outfitted to allow full mobility from one location to another using a towing trailer. The vessel must be supplied (or capable of retro-fit) to contain all gases generated during an internal detonation. This allows for safe handling and treatment of explosive devices associated with Weapons of Mass Destruction. If a vendor offers a Total Containment Vessel meeting the requirements, descriptive literature must be supplied. The Government reserves the right to review any literature provided and determine if it is in the Government's best interest to issue a formal solicitation. Note 1 applies.
