The United States Air Force Electronic Systems Center (ESC) seeks to procure the following radio equipment items and quantities, which will be acquired and priced under one order. These items are being procured under a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case for the Polish Air Force and will be installed inside ground, airfield operations centers. All items, where applicable, must be capable of being installed in an industry standard 19" width rack mount. The items and quantities required will be segregated into two groups/systems for identification purposes relative to their functional purpose. GROUP I EQUIPMENT -- UHF/VHF RECEIVER/TRANSMITTER SYSTEM: The following items will be integrated into a rack system to power and operate the Rockwell Collins ARC-210 Receiver/Transmitter, Model 629F-11A. All items must be mechanically (e.g. fit of interface cable connectors to R/T) and electronically (e.g. connector pin wiring configuration) compatible with the ARC-210 R/T to ensure proper installation and operation of the system. MOUNTING BASE, will provide an integrated Power Supply with 220 VAC/50 Hz input and 28 VDC output, and all necessary wiring harnesses and connectors to integrate the R/T power and input/output functions with a Control Unit Panel, Speaker & Handset Panel, and Secure Voice By Pass Panel, Qty -- 6; HANDSET, with extension cord and industry standard phono plug, Qty -- 6; SPEAKER & HANDSET PANEL, will provide a 3" -- 5" speaker for audio and a standard phono jack for connection of a Handset plug, Qty -- 6; SECURE VOICE BY PASS PANEL, will provide a switch and wiring harness to enable operator by-pass of a KY- type COMSEC device, thereby permitting "clear voice" operation of the R/T, Qty -- 6; GROUND ANTENNA, FIXED TYPE & INSTALLATION KIT, will provide 100 -- 400 MHz frequency spectrum reception/transmission for the R/T, and all necessary installation brackets and cable connectors for mounting to exterior of building, Qty -6; ANTENNA CABLE, low loss type, 100 footspool, Qty -- 6 . Other than requirement for 19" width rack mount installation, there are no physical or weight restrictions on the above items. GROUP II EQUIPMENT -- UHF/VHF RECEIVER SYSTEM: The following items are required for the installation and operation of a UHF/VHF Receiver System. UHF/VHF RECEIVER must be a direct-conversion design and provide the following, minimum operational features: Frequency Band -- VHF (110 -- 150 MHz) and UHF (225 -- 400 MHz); Frequency Spacing -- 25 KHz and 8.33 KHz; Receiver Function for Rescue Frequency Reception -- VHF Band (121.500 MHz) and UHF Band (243.000 MHz); Power Supply Requirements -- AC 220V +/- 10%, 50 Hz, DC 27V +/- 10%; MTBF = greater than 14,000 hours; Spurious Attenuation = -80 dB; Sensitivity = 2uV / 6 dB S+N/N; Ability to Program Channels -- 10 channels for both UHF and VHF bands; Audio Output Jack provided on front panel, Qty -- 8; RACK MOUNT KIT, will provide the necessary hardware and wiring for installation of the Receiver, Qty -- 8; SLIDE KIT, will work in conjunction with the Rack Mount Kit to enable the operator to unlock and slide out the Receiver for maintenance actions, Qty -- 8; HEADPHONE SET with Extension Cord (male phono plug) to plug directly into phono jack on from of Receiver, Qty -- 8; GROUND ANTENNA, FIXED, & INSTALLATION KIT, will provide 100 -- 400 MHz frequency spectrum reception, and all necessary installation brackets and antenna cable connectors for mounting to exterior of building Qty -- 8; ANTENNA CABLE, low loss type, 100 foot spool, Qty -- 8; OPERATOR'S MANUAL, will provide operating instructions in English language for the Receiver, Qty -- 8. With the exception of the functional specifications and characteristics identified above, there are no physical or weight restrictions on the above items. This is an equipment procurement only, and no spares, training, or factory installation and repair services are required. Delivery of all items is required in one shipment on or before31 July 2000. Responses must be received no later than 24 September 1999. Responses must include the company name; address; DUNS number; CAGE Code; Tax Identification Number. Each offeror must state whether they are a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), or woman-owned small business.
