The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command (SBCCOM) intends to negotiate with the Environmental Technologies Group, Inc. (ETG) in Baltimore, Maryland, on a non-competitive basis (per FAR 6.302-1) for a new requirements contract to obtain consumables and stockpile materials for the biological detectors that were developed and produced by ETG and integrated into the fielded Pre-Planned Product Improvement Biological Integrated Detection Systems. The consumables will consist of BD Assay and Maintenance Test Kits (reservoirs and tape cassettes with tape), Agent of Biological Origin Reagent Pairs, and BG Reagent Pairs. The stockpile materials will consist of biotin, rolls of nitrocellulose, rolls of polyester and lead tape, and raw materials for producing the plastic parts used for the assay and clean down reservoirs and the tape cassettes.
