The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to extend Contract No. DCA200-94-C-0007, a firm fixed price contract, on a sole source basis. The contract currently will expire on 20 Oct 99, and will be extended for a period of up to six months, 21 Oct 99 through 20 Apr 00. The purpose of this extension is to provide continuous, uninterrupted service as a bridge between the existing contract and the new competitive award currently being worked. This contract provides for the lease of two dedicated, full duplex, 1.544 Mbps circuits. One circuit is between Guam Tracking Station (GTS) and Onizuka Air Station (OAS) CA, and one circuit between GTS and Schriever AFB CO. The contractor is MCI Telecommunications Corporation, 8200 Greensboro Drive, McLean VA 22102-3803. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
