Bonner, 440.838.6091 Under the Authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153, Expanded Sharing Authority and in accordance with FAR, Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio intends to procure services to include materials testing and inspection during the construction of the Ambulatory Care Addition. The services shall include inspection testing, written reports, verbal reports and test standards. The period of performance is estimated to be 730 calendar days, however the contract may be extended so that it will remain in full force for the full duration of the construction contract, including all delays and time extensions. The minimum qualifications for the testing laboratory are as follows: (a) Principals of the testing laboratory must be registered professional engineers with not less than five years experience in type of testing required under the contract. (b) Each person in charge of the laboratory testing, field testing, and inspection must have not less than one year full-time experience in duties performed under the contract. (c) The Contractor must show evidence of current certification of authorization in the State of Ohio.
