Mid-Pacific Region, Bureau of Reclamation, requires copier services on
a cost-per-copy (CPC) basis. The requirement includes the copying
machines, all consumable supplies (except paper), emergency repair
service during normal working hours, periodic preventive maintenance,
and operator training services. Areas of service include Northern and
Central California, the greater Reno/Sparks area and Carson City
communities in the State of Nevada, and the Klamath Basin area in the
State of Oregon. More than one offer may be accepted for award. The RFP
will define service areas for the cost-per-copy services. An offeror
may be awarded more than one service area, however, no service area
will have more than one offer accepted for service in that area. Period
of performance is anticipated to be 365 calendar days from date of
contract award, with three 12 month option periods. This solicitation
is issued subject to availability of funds for FY2000. This is an
unrestricted procurement conducted under SIC code 7334, the size
standard for which is $3.5 million average annual receipts for the
preceding 3 fiscal years. Large businesses must comply with the FAR
52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on
the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals
for subcontracting are 15% for small business, 6% for small
disadvantaged business, and 1% for woman-owned small business .
Technical and cost proposals will be required and the successful
offeror(s) will be selected through a tradeoff process to determine the
offer(s) which are the best value to the Government. The solicitation
is scheduled for issuance on or about October 1, 1999. To request a
