The Government intends to procure on a sole source basis Sun Certified Solaris Training with Copernicus Computer Service. This procurement is for the Sun UNIX training voucher, 100+ classroom days of training on the following courses: Solaris System Administration I (SA-237), Solaris System Administration II (SA-287), Solaris Server Administration (SA-350), and Solaris Network Administration (SA-387). Each course is five days in length. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, supplemented with information included in this notice. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses at FAR 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions -- Simplified Acquisitions (FEB 1998), and any others that are applicable and in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) and the Defense Acquisition Circular. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. No RFQ will be prepared or made available. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on a determination of responsibility/ technically acceptable low bids.
