Z -- INSTALL FENCE AND GATES WITH MANDATORY SITE VISIT REQUIRED FOR SCHEDULED TIMES SOL N68931-99-Q-5707 DUE 091999 POC POC Lori Chestnut 843-764-7400 The Naval Weapons Station, Charleston, SC has the following requirement for the Border Patrol: (1) MANDATORY SITE VISIT IS REQUIRED. (2) Contractor will be responsible for taking own field measurements. (2) Work includes installation of approximately 500 ft of 4 ft fence and gates at the NEVO and approximately 515 ft at the skid range. There shall be 1 each 24 ft double swing gates and 1 each 4 ft walk thorough at each range. All fencing shall be 9 gauge fabric with top and bottom tension wire. There shall be approximately seven grounding points at each range. All grounding shall be in accordance with Naval Weapons Grounding criteria. This can be obtained during site visit. The 304 parking lot shall be approx 1050 lt of 7-ft fence fabric with 3 strands of barbed wire on out riggers. All corners shall have post braces. The total fence height shall be 8-ft high. A 22 foot cantilever gate and a 15 foot swing gate shall be placed as shown on drawing. Drawing will be given out at site visit. All fences shall be 9 gauge fencing with top and bottom tension wire. There shall be approximately 12 grounding points at the parking lot and all grounds shall be in accordance with Naval Weapons Station grounding criteria. All line post shall be at least 2", all corner posts shall be at least 3" and all gate posts shall be at least 4". (4) Contractor must bring proof of vehicle insurance and drivers license to obtain security passes and badge. (5) Contractor will be responsible for providing references with names and telephone numbers. (6) TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. (7) Estimated between $25,000 & $50,000.
