30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437-5226 is soliciting offerors
to provide two (2) year inspection and repair of two (2) each 66 H
Condor Boom Hi-Reach_s. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, Quotes are
being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. There
are two solicitation numbers associated with this requirement.
F04684-99-T0580 is for serial number 9222 and F04684-99-T0585 is for
serial number 15246. The solicitation document and incorporated
provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition
circular 97-13. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small
business participation only. The SIC is 3531 and the Size Std is 500.
There will be four (4) contract line items as follows: Services,
non-personal: Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials,
facilities, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform two
(2) year Safety/Periodic Maintenance Inspection, and repair as required
Model 66H Condor Booms. Solicitation # F04684-99-T0580 Line Item 1:
Perform two (2) year Safety/Periodic Maintenance Inspection on Model
66H Condor Boom, 1 each. Line Item 2: Repair as required to include:
Replace Blower Bearings, Reseal Injection Pump, Service Engine, Tune-Up
and Adjust Valves, Repack Wheel Bearing and Replace Seals, Service
Hydraulic System, Replace Planetary Seals, Replace all Hoses, Replace
Steel Lines at Boom, Replace all Controls, Replace all Wear Pads,
Replace all Switches, Repair Basket, Replace Safety Manuals, Paint
Complete, Pick-Up and Delivery of Unit. Solicitation # F04684-99-T0585
Line Item 3: Perform two (2) year Safety/Periodic Maintenance
Inspection on Model 66H Condor Boom, 1 each. Line Item 4: Repair as
required to include: Clean All Electrical Connections, Tune-Up Engine,
Repair Wobulator, Replace Bull Gear Bolts, Reseal Rotary Spool,
Replace All Hoses, Repair Basket, Replace All Controls, Replace Wheel
Bony Seals and Repack Bearings, Replace Planetary Seals, Replace Boom
Wear Pads, Service Hydraulic System, Reseal Rotation Gear Box, Reset
Hydraulic Pressures, Repair Engine Oil Leak, Replace Exhaust System,
Install Document Box, Service Engine, Replace Safety Manuals, Paint
Complete, Pick-Up and Delivery of Unit. Delivery 60 After Receipt of
Order to Vandenberg AFB, FOB destination. The provisions at FAR
52.212-1 "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial," with the following
addenda applies to the acquisition: Offerors shall submit past
performance data consisting of three recent and relevant contracts with
their offer. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2 "Evaluation-Commercial
Items," applies to this acquisition. Insert in Para (a), "The following
factors will be used to evaluate offers, (1) price and (2) past
performance. Offerors must submit with their quotes a completed copy of
the provision at FAR 52.212-3, "Offeror Representations
Certifications-Commercial Items." The clause at FAR 52.212-4, "Contract
Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items," applies to this acquisition
along with the following addenda: FAR 52.219-8, "Notice of Total Small
Business set-aside." The clause at FAR 52.212-5, "Contract Terms and
Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive

validation is for 30 days from the date of their quote and delivery
must be completed 60 days after award. Sources responding must provide
their company name, contact point and phone number, and their
