The USA CECOM Acquisition Center-Washington, in support of the Project
Manager Intelligence Fusion and the Product Manager
Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Management Systems
(PM CHIMS) proposes to extend the period of performance for Sterling
Software under Contract No. DAAB15-99-C-1002 for a period of six
additional months beginning 1 December 99 through 31 May 00. Contract
DAAB15-99-C-1002 was awarded to Sterling Software, Applied Systems
Division, 5205 Leesburg Pike, Suite 1200, Falls Church, Virginia, 22041
on November 30, 1998, for a period of one year. Under the current
contract the work is divided into three distinct tasks: Functional
Application Development, Software Maintenance and Operational Support.
Sterling Software is responsible for the development, test, and
delivery of CI/HUMINT software. This effort covers development of
production software baselines for the AN/PYQ-3(V), the individual
hand-held device under development and software modules for other Win32
platformswithin the All Source Analysis System (ASAS) architecture.
Additionally, Sterling Software is responsible for the integration of
existing commercial and government software applications and modules to
provide a common software baseline. Under the software maintenance
portion of the effort, Sterling provides the required systems
engineering and system integration efforts necessary to incorporate
product baselines into existing intelligence and command and control
architectures. Additionally the contractor performs software
corrections/repairs identified through the test and integration
process. The Operational Support efforts associated with this contract
require Sterling Software to provide technical engineering support to
PM CHIMS for training, exercises and demonstrations/experiments.
Additionally, Sterling provides technical support of fielding and
installation of procured equipment and software as designated by the PM
CHIMS. This operational support may be required in both CONUS and
OCONUS and includes technical assistance to support New Equipment
