Karoleen.A.Montgomery@usace.army.mil. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Walla Walla District, has a competitive requirement for all services,
materials and equipment necessary for cultural resources site
evaluation within the McNary Reservoir, located in southeastern
Washington associated with the conveyance of federal lands as directed
by the Water Resources Development Act of 1996. Up to twenty-eight
cultural resources sites may be tested and assessed for National
Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility. Scope of work shall
include, but not be limited to the following: review pertinent
information on identified sites, develop a research design, excavate
and process up to sixty cubic meters of material, determine NRHP
eligibility of each site, site recording and evaluation actions on
sites specified, and prepare required reports. Proposals will be
evaluated on criteria indicated in the solicitation. A tentative
listing of the main factors are as follows: 1) research design, 2)
technical competence, 3) technical regional familiarity, work history,
and cost. PROCUREMENT UNRESTRICTED. For reporting purposes, the size
standard under Standard Industrial Classification Code 8731 is the
average employment, based on the number of persons employed on a
full-time-, part-time, temporary or other basis during each of the pay
periods of the preceding 12 months, shall not exceed 500 employees.
This is not a request for proposal, but notice that a solicitation will
be issued for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit an
