DESCRIPTION -- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Reference number is AMSTALCM-00399&00499. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 97. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7379, with a size standard of $18.0 million. The requirement is for custom on-line research(unlimited use) service for 50 simultaneous users. This service is online access to a mainframe based research service that searches and cross references up-to-date information extracted from the following databases: FLIS, MCRL, ML-C, H2, H6, MOE rules, CAGE, DLA, V-Segment of FILDR, VSMF, NMDF, SPCC/CRF, P2300, P2330, P2310, MRIL, NICN-to-NICN, CHAIN, LIRSH, ICRL, P2002, UDM, AMDF, ARIL, HMDF, SB700-20, D049, D043/D043/X, SNUD, DODAAF, QPL, & GSA Access to the data residing on the host mainframe is through TCP/IP connections via a dedicated router and 56KB high speed digital link that is connected to and accessed through the TACOM Wide Local Area Network (TWLAN).
