proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for small disadvantaged
business concerns (SDB). Offers from concerns other than SDBs will not
be considered. The Pentagon Renovation Office intends to conduct a
competitive 8(a) best value source selection solicitation for
replacement of Intake and Outfall lines and construction of intake
structure and screen house for the Pentagon Heating and Refrigeration
Plant. A qualified tunneling prime and/or sub-contractor will be
required for this project. The tunneling contractor will be required to
submitt references and will be evaluated as part of the award process.
A firm fixed price with award fee provisions contract is anticipated.
Anticipated release of RFP is mid-October 1999. Estimated dollar value
