This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is FA4416-99T0562 and is a request for quote (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Delivery shall be FOB destination to Andrews AFB MD. Quotations to this solicitation must be received by 28 Sep 99 at 4:00 p.m EST. Offerors must comply with all instructions in FAR 52.212-1 with submittal of their offer and provide all information required along with quote. Contractor shall remove and dispose of existing exterior fixtures and provide and install approximately one each type per household new fixtures of or equal to the following: Front Door: Brass coach lamp diffuse lenses, hardwired unit with photocell using two each 13 watt compact flourescent bulbs, Model number VLTE-WPL-Cstm-SDPL-2-CFLW13-PC (2CFL 13watt quad CFL hardwired & photcell) mfg Vision Lighting, Washington DC. Back Door: Silver ring model brushed aluminum base with round glove, hardwired unit with photocell using two 13 watt compact flourescent bulbs, Model number SR2-13-RWPL-WL-PC (2-13watt quad CFL hardwired & photocell) mfg Vision Lighting, Washington DC. Contractor shall do all necessary electrical connection wiring associated with installation. Equipment and installation shall be under warranty for one year from completion date of the project.
