Varga-Sinka, Contract Specialist, (770) 488-2619 Provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, incidental accessories and supervision for the repair and upgrade of an existing waste incinerator. Incinerator is rated at 500 lb/hr of Type 4 waste and currently is operating as a semi-automatic ram fed pathological incinerator. This project will require specialized trade in SIC CODE 1799. Other work included, but not limited to, is the removal of primary and secondary chamber refractory linings, main control instrumentation panels, removal of fuel oil piping and controls, removal of existing hydraulic cylinders, valves and hoses. Work will include relining incinerator, refurbishing seals, modification to incinerator loader with interlocks control system, upgrading existing hydraulic system, replacement of doors, cylinders, valves and hoses. Contractor will need to provide new PLC control system with controls and instrumentation, including wiring, and software. Painting will be completed with high temperature paint. Plans and Specifications are not available at this time and will not be available until the 15 Oct. 1999 or later. Award will not be made until Dec. 1999.
