This requirement is a sole source to Knight's Armament Company (manufacturer of the SR25 rifle)- to recondition 36 SR-25 rifles. A quantity of 18 will be reconditioned as follows: Replace barrels with 20" Obermyer barrels with slightly heavier contour than existing barrels, plus (0.50" over). Add muzzle brake that accepts QD suppressor.1 MOA accuracy at 600 yd using M118LR 175gr Sierra ammunition in 4 of 5 groups, add full-floating extended Rail Interface System. Replace all internal parts such as bolts, shearing, extractors, etc. Replace standard gas block with stainless steel gas block, overall length less than or equal to 36", weight less than or equal to 7 lb, 14oz. A quantity of 18 will be reconditioned in accordance with the above specification with the exception of the barrels will have 16" Obermeyer heavy barrels. A firm-fixed price order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and this procurement is reserved exclusively for Small Business concerns. The Government will furnish 36 each "f" condition SR-25 rifles (GFM). Delivery will be 90 days after award of purchase order.
