DUE 092499 POC Barry Aldridge, Sr. Contracting Specialist (972)761-2151 or 2545 The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to engage a Lead and Backup Loan Servicer to provide a full range of servicing, Full and Master, for Residential Mortgage Loans obtained through FDIC's appointment as Receivers for various failed financial institutions. The portfolio will generally consist of performing and non-performing residential loans mainly collateralized by one to four family residential real estate; however, there may be pools of loans that qualify as Real Estate Mortgage Investment Conduits (REMIC) under the Internal Revenue Code, or REMIC-like product. Additionally, loans may be primary serviced by others (LSBO), Loans Serviced For Others (LSFO), ownership or participation interests in securitizations, and similar type products. To be considered under the RFP, an offeror must be a rated servicer and maintain a rating level, from a recognized industry-rating agency, equivalent to "average" or "acceptable" or better for residential loan servicing and master servicing. To receive the RFP, please send a letter, on company letterhead and signed by an Officer of the organization, stating your firm is a rated servicer and has the capabilities to perform Residential Loan Servicing.
