E-MAIL: Fred Lacey IV, fred.lacey@ramstein.af.mil. ***CHANGES TO THE PREVIOUS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE*** The USAFE Contracting Squadron intends to solicit proposals for a follow-on contract for Facilities Engineering Services for the Kaiserslautern Army Military Community. Functional areas include Operation, Maintenance, Repair and Minor Construction of Real Property, Maintenance and Repair of Installed Building Equipment (IBE) and Equipment-In-Place (EIP). The period of performance for the Facilities Engineering Services Contract is for a three month phase-in period and one basic year starting 01 Oct 00 with the possibility of nine one-year options. A Cost Plus Award Fee Contract is anticipated. This procurement will have no restrictions as to the prime contractor being an American firm or to small businesses. Copies of the Draft Solicitation and the Final RFP will be available through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) http://www.eps.gov/. A copy of the draft solicitation and Statement of Work (SOW) documentation will be released on this site, on or about 01 Oct 99. The Final RFP will be available on or about 01 Nov 99. NO PAPER COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. No telephonic requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. NOTE: It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the aforementioned Internet site for the release of the Draft Solicitation, Final RFP and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the Draft Solicitation, Final RFP and Amendments (if any).
