The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency intends to enter into an Interagency Agreement with the Library of Congress_s FEDLINK to utilize existing Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA) to purchase WESTLAW, an online, fully-interactive computer-assisted legal research service and LEXIS-NEXIS, an online legal, news, legislative and business information service. It is anticipated that the period of performance for these two services will be from January 1 -- December 31, 2000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation documents are available. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurements which is solely within the discretion of the OCC. Responses (in writing) should include full costing information, as well as descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capacity to meet the requirements. Written responses must be received within thirty(30) days of publication of this synopsis.
