The function of the EMSC is to receive digital engine performance signals from the engine monitoring system processor (EMSP) and aircraft parameters from the aircraft multiplexer (MVX) bus. The main purpose of the EMSC is to record fault data for download. The dimensions are 5.0 inches in height maximum, width is 6.5 inches maximum and depth is 10.0 inches maximum.
