This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the removal of an existing McQuay condensing system and purchase and installation of a new McQuay condensing system for building 1800 at Scott AFB, IL., SITE VISIT SET FOR FRIDAY 17 SEPT 0900, SCOTT AFB, BUILDING 1800. POC IS RICH LANTER (618) 256-5952. CLOSING DATE THURSDAY 23 SEP 1999 COB. Prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation, F11623-99-T1924, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation package includes the statement of work, provisions/clauses and wage determination. It is the contractor responsibility to be familiar with all-applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition will be 100% Small Business set aside. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror that is most advantageous to the government. The following factors will be evaluated: technical capability, price, past performance and delivery schedule in compliance with the requirements of this solicitation all the referenced clauses with price being the most significant factor. The solicitation and required provisions and clauses can be downloaded at www.eps.gov. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1711 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7.0.
