Files, 360-905-1781 This is a combined synopsis/solicitatation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is full and open competition. SIC Code: 3585. Size standard 750 employees. It is the government's intent to issue a firm-fixed price order. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through 97-13. The contractor shall comply with the following requirements: Provide one each Medical Gas Compressor as follows: Compressor to be oil free, water-cooled, two stage rotary screw, vibration free and be in full compliance with NFPA 99 level 1 compressors for medical air. Capacity will be equal to or greater than 70 SCFM at 100 psig. High efficiency, heavy-duty motor will be rated for 460V. Motor to be 20 HP, 3/60/460 V. Magnetic starter. Compressor to have a separate motor driven oil pump for gear lubrication. Have water cooled after cooler with moisture separator and automatic drain. easy access to equipment for maintenance if in cabinet. The compressor will have the following features; Oil level gauge, Oil filter condition indicator, Oil pressure gauge, Air discharge pressure gauge, Air discharge temperature indicator, Lube oil temperature indicator, Alarm indicator, Hour Meter -- running time, Hour meter -- loaded time, Manual unload switch, Gear case with integral sump, Intercooler with moisture separator and automatic drain, Automatic electro-pneumatic pressure regulation system, Air intake filter/silencer with replaceable element, Lubrication oil cooler, Discharge check valve, Discharge silencer.
