This is a combined synopsis-/-solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and THERE WILL BE NO WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION ISSUED. The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation is N00244-99-T-B534. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This solicitation is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside (SEE Note 1), under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3829 (Measuring and Controlling Devices, NEC) with a small business standard of 500 employees. Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) has a requirement for the following items: 0001 Tapered Electronic Oscillating Microbalance (TEOM), series 1105 Diesel Particulate Monitor, quantity 1 ea. 0002 Two meter heated sample line (ancillary to CLIN 0001), quantity 1 each. 0003 One meter heated sample line (ancillary to CLIN 0001), quanitity 1 each.
