The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command has a requirement to Remove and Replace HVAC Units in Building #7, Mezzanine Area and in Room 100. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to (a) Remove one 12.5 ton packaged water cooled condensing unit, and one Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Unit with DX coil and steam coil, specified ductwork, piping, fiberglass insulation, electrical service, and control wiring. (b) Furnish and install one new 12.5 ton packaged water-cooled condenser, one new HVAC unit with supply fan, steam coil, and DX cooling coil, specified ductwork, piping, electrical service, and controls to make system complete and operational. (c) Remove existing and install new self-contained 7.5 ton Carrier or equal air conditioning unit which contains both heating and cooling coils that are able to maintain room temperatures 24 hours a day. (d) Contractor shall add a new steam valve to control steam to the unit, modify ductwork needed to supply new unit, add all required electrical and water connections for the new unit, and ensure unit is fully operational. Work will be performed at the U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command, Natick, Ma. Period of Performance is 30 calendar days. The SIC Code for the acquisition is 7623. The Small Business Size Standard is $5.0 Mil. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
