AMBIENT MONITORING DEVICE In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Materiel Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division intends to negotiate and award a sole source Purchase Order to MIDAC CORPORATION, Platacataway, NJ for the purchase of one (1) Industrial Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR)Spectrometer with 10 meter gas cell, one (1)Heating Jacket for a 10 meter cell and one (1)Temperature/Pressure Process Controller, to include on-site installation and training at the U.S. Army SBCCOM, SSC, Natick, MA 01760. The Man in Simulant Test Project (MIST) requires two long path infra-red detectors to monitor uniform challenge of vapor contaminant throughout a two man chamber. Stringent EPA requirements must be met and this company has the required technical expertise and equipment to meet this unique requirement and market survey has indictated that there are no other frims capable in meeting this particular requirement.
