ANTEROOMS FOR MIST CHAMBER Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Materiel Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to place a purchase order on a sole source basis with BMA, Inc, 31 Willow Road, Ayer, MA for the design, construction and installation of an environmental chamber for man-in-simulant-tests (MIST), requring the attachment of a series of three consecutive anterooms. The Contractor is the only known source for this item, and is familiar with the material of the MIST chamber and its cooling and heating system to provide and properly connect the walls and floor of the anterooms in order to form a complex of leak-tight structures. Interested parties who contend that they are capable of providing the supplies are required to submit a proposal within 7 days from the publication of this notice. Specific factual data, product literature, and other pertinent information, which demonstrates their capability in providing these items, shall be submitted to the above address, Attention: Mr. Thomas Bouchard (AMSSB-ACN-S) and the information submitted will be used as an evaluation basis to determine competence to successfully meet the requirements. All proposals received within the 15 day notice period will be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice. Technical responses and requests received, as a result of this Notice of Intent, will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
