A -- FLYWHEEL ENERGY STORAGE ELECTRONICS The NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) is conducting a program to develop flywheel energy storage technology for implementation on the International Space Station. NASA GRC's intends to enter into a cooperative agreement with TRW in response to a TRW unsolicited proposal. The effort performed under the cooperative agreement will be to develop electronic controls and software necessary for flywheel subsystem functions using TRW's existing intellectual property and proprietary technology. TRW will also be contributing company resources to co-fund the cooperative agreement.
