The quantity of batteries for removal is being corrected to 244 instead of 264. The following are questions asked at the site-visit on September 13, 1999. 1) What are the model numbers for the fans? The fans are 115v 50/60hz 43/41 W, Chloride part number EBM W2S130-AA25-01; 2) Will other offerors not attending the site-visit be able to quote on the procurement? Yes. The solicitation did not indicate that the site visit was mandatory; 3) What are the dimensions of the batteries currently in the system? Current dimensions are 5-1/4" wide x 9" long x 8" high; 4) What are the dimensions of the cabinets? All cabinets are Chloride brand. The cabinet model numbers are EDP70/50/40C, 50 KVA and EDP70/75/50C, 75 KVA. Each cabinet has 5 shelves with 5 batteries on each shelve. The shelves are 18" x 23"; 5) Would like a copy of the circuit diagram. At this time we do not have a copy of the circuit diagram. When we receive a copy, we will pass it on. The following are clarifactions. Normal business hours for DOE/NV are 6:00am to 5:00pm. Batteries must be able to fit in the current cabinets and meet the required ratings as stated in the basic solicitation. When removing the existing batteries, they must be removed from the property at the end of each work day. Batteries can not be stored at the Nevada Support Facility.
