This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This is a fiscal year 2000 requirement with an award being made depending on the availability of funds. The period of this requirement is from 1 Oct 99 -- 30 Sep 00. Vendor to provide services nonpersonal for: Hardware Maintenance, Smartnet Premium provides 7 X 24 telephone support and 4 hour delivery of required parts. First level cost effective support for Hardware, Software, and Firmware problems: and support for troubleshooting and configuration problems. The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition circular (FAC) 97-06 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. It is the contractor responsibility to be familiar with all-applicable clauses and provisions. (iv) This acquisition will be 100% Small Business set aside.
