The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), is recruiting to contract individual registered nurses to coordinate the medical management of injured federal employees. Assignments will be intermittent and part time. The area of recruitment is the entire state of Hawaii. Minimum requirements include 1) a valid R.N. License, 2) at least two years case management experience, and 3) at least two years general med-surgical experience. Additional experience desired includes basic knowledge of workers' compensation injuries and illnesses. Applicants chosen for this contract position will sign a memorandum of agreement and will be provided training in OWCP procedures. Nurses currently engaged in federal employement are not eligible for this contract position.
