This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation ACD-99-Q-0026 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. A single award will be made. Term of the contract will be for one year plus a (1) one-year option and delivery shall be FOB destination. CLIN 0001: BASE YEAR: Mobile Monitor Sensor Surveillance System, compact in size and easily mounts to Troy consoles, includes mounting plates; mobile sensor monitor display unit must extend from receiver unit via extension cable; unit must be housed in ruggedized casing; include synthesized receiverwith capability of two programmed frequencies; unit must be able to store a minimum of the last five entries, stamped for retrieval and review; must have alarm blockout function which enables operator to disable up to 5 sensor addresses. Monitron P/N RD-115M "or equal" QTY: 62 EACH. Guaranteed Minimum (base year only) to be ordered is 31 each and the Maximum to be ordered is 62. Delivery required within 30-45 days after receipt of order (ARO). CLIN 0002: FIRST OPTION YEAR-QTY 31 each. Any items ordered above the guaranteed minimum will be ordered on delivery order(s) issued by any contracting officer located within the 17 state Central Region: Quotes shall include product data information, additional discounts offered, any extended warranty information, and company's DUNS Number. If "equal" is offered, offeror shall provide manufacturer's part number/model, along with descriptive literature and specifications. Units must meet all Vendors shall state warranty, which shall be a minimum of one (1) year for all parts and labor. Contractor shall provide one (1) set of operating & maintenance and parts list manuals for each unit. The provisions at FAR 15.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
