The U.S. Customs Service intends to award a sole source purchase order to AIMware Inc, for the purchase of site licenses for the AIMware information repository software tool to include system set-up, training, maintenance and support. The software product will be used by Customs to document and distribute policies, processes, and procedures of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) from an on-line repository. The AIMware software product, produced exclusively by AIMware, has been evaluated and approved by the Customs Technical Review Committee for recommended use as the enterprise wide information repository system. Customs extensively investigated but found no other software product that will meet the complete needs of the requirements to support a Lotus Notes based information repository system as well as the AIMware product.
