The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment (except as identified on the Government provided equipment list), tools, materials supervision, and all other items or services necessary to perform telephone switchboard operations and base locator duties at the 56th Communications Squadron Telephone Switchboard, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The Telephone Switchboard, at Luke Air Force Base, will be manned 24 hours a day 7 days a week in accordance with the Statement of Work. The contract will include a base period from 11 Jan 00 -- 30 Sep 00 and four (4) subsequent pre-priced 1 year options from 01 Oct -- 30 Sep each year. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-priced. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition 7389 with a three-year average annual small business size standard of $5,000,000. The magnitude of this contract for all five years is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This acquisition is a small business set aside. The successful contractor will be selected using performance/price trade-off procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-1, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Performance is significantly more important than price. Recent, relevant, past and present performance information is requested not later than two weeks prior to the closing date for receipt of proposals. (Recent, relevant, past and present performance is defined as performance of the same or similar type of work within the past three years.)
