This acquisition is for a broad range of maintenance, alteration, repair and minor construction work on real property at Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, Texas and its associated sites. The work is required in support of Base Civil Engineering activities. The contract will be an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contract and will include a wide variety of individual construction tasks. During the contract period, projects will be identified and individual delivery orders will be negotiated for each project. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, personnel, and other necessary resources to manage and accomplish the projects. The contractor will be required to maintain a management office on Dyess AFB in order to process, negotiate, and receive delivery orders and provide other management services related to accomplishing the contract. Individual jobs will vary in size and complexity. The projects will include tasks in a variety of trades including, but not necessarily limited to, carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavating, interior electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, and welding. The guaranteed contract minimum for the life of the contract is $200,000 and the proposed maximum is $7.5 Million. The average value of SABER delivery orders under the current SABER contract at Dyess AFB, from the base year through the second option year was $58,341, with a range from $1,087 to $295,400. The performance period will be a 12-month base year with four (4) 12-month option year. The proposed contract is being considered as an _8a Set Aside_ procurement. The Government anticipates significant subcontracting activity under this contract. The requirement will be posted via the Electronic Posting System (EPS).
