This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number DTMA4Q99004 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. This is a small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code 3799; the size standard applicable is a maximum of 500 employees. Description of requirement: The vendor shall provide an anchor with chain, connecting links, swivel link, and joining link. Vendor to provide manufacturer's standard commercial warranty. This warranty is in addition to all required American Bureau of Shipping certifications. Quantity required: ITEM 0001, Quantity 10. Ten Shots (90 feet each) 2 7/16" diameter stud-link anchor chain, new grade 3 with ABS certification. ITEM 0002, Quantity: 10 . Type "C" (Baldt type) chain connecting links for 2 7/16" chain, new grade 3 with ABS certification. ITEM 0003, Quantity 1.
