The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for five (5) Enhanced Miniaturized Airborne Global Positioning System Receivers (EMAGR). The Government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Rockwell-Collins, Incorporated, 400 Collins Road Northeast, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52498. Rockwell-Collins, as the original equipment manufacturer, is the only known source for providing these receivers. In addition, Rockwell-Collins is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to manufacture these receivers within the limited time constraints of the Navy.
