Services of an Architectural/Engineer (A/E) for design of project to remodel approximately 2700 SF of Angiography Spaces on second floor of existing hospital, Bldg. 1 for the VA Medical Center, Louisville, Kentucky. Project will include planning, phasing, architectural, structural, equipment, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and all other requirements to design a fully prepared space that will be ready to receive new Vascular X-ray equipment at the VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY. The spaces to be renovated are on and around second floor of Bldg. 1 (Main Hospital), and will include an exam room, control area, and support spaces. Drawings shall be accomplished on "CAD" and be compatible with VA Auto cad system format software, Auto Cad Release 13. The A/E will be required to complete all design work within 60 calendar days of contract award. Design is to include preparation of complete drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates per VA guidelines. Estimated construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. See number Note 24. SIC 87l2 Architectural Services applies to this procurement. This proposed contract is 100% set-aside for an Emerging Small Business. Firms grossing over $l.25 million for past 3 years will not be eligible per FAR subpart 19.10. Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 30 mile radius of Louisville, Kentucky .
