The work involves underwater investigation of obstructions to navigation at 4 locations in the Federal Navigation Channel in Gloucester, Massachusetts and 1 location in the Federal Navigation Channel in Hyannis Harbor, Massachusetts. The intent of this contract is to identify and define the obstruction at each location and obtain information that may aid in potential future removal efforts. The proposed work includes making general observations, performing an underwater video and obtaining dimensions of each obstruction. Estimated cost of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
