U -- INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE (HARVARD UNIVERSITY FELLOWSHIP) NOTICE OF INTENT. The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB AL intends to issue a sole source award to The Government Affairs Institute at JFK School Of Government at Harvard for educational training and administrative services. The program fees are part of the AF Fellows program. The government intends to acquire this using commercial service using FAR Part 12. 42 CONS intends to place the purchase order pursuant to FAR Part 13.106-1(b) which allows for the acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably available from only one source. Interested firms have 5 days from the publication of this combined synopsis/solicitation to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities and offers. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a cost competitive basis. Responses received after Sep 27 1630 CST or without the required information will be considered non-responsiveto the synopsis/solicitation and will not be considered.
