SPAWAR Systems Center, San Diego is conducting an Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76 Commercial Activities (CA) study on the Physical Distribution and Warehousing functions at the Old Town and Point Loma Complexes. Physical Distribution includes: receipt, inspection and delivery of incoming material/equipment, stowage of material and shipping of material/equipment thruogh various means. Warehouse functions include storage of material/equipment and disposal of equipment deemed to be excess or beyond economical repair. Additional warehouse functions include inventory control, issuance of project material and care of material in storage and reporting requirements.
