(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) FA2550-99-Q0740 is the solicitation number, the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. Performance period is 30 days after receipt of order, The vendor will furnish new control parts to replace the outdated controls on 7 each generator switch panels. Items will be marked for delivery to Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Co 80912. (iv) This acquisition is set aside for small business.
