The instant-on feature shall allow the micro camera to turn on and display an image of a moving man target at a range of 240 meters in less than or equal to 350 milliseconds. Design, fabricate, test and demonstration of the instant-on feature (less than 350 millisecond turn on and image display time) in an IR micro camera shall be completed in twelve months. The existing IR micro camera design must be for a functioning and demonstrated IR micro camera having a minimum of 160x120 pixels, be <=8 in 3 in volume, weigh less than or equal to 8 ounces, have less than 2.5 watts total power consumption and a NET <80 mK.
