The process to be used for this solicitation will be a two-step request for proposal with stipend. Design and construct a 2360 m2 one-story facility to provide space for the overhaul and repair of aircraft weapons release systems that include aircraft guns, bomb racks, weapons pylons and ejection racks. It includes warm storage, maintenance shop, gun maintenance shop, wash bay, shop and administrative offices, break room, conference and training rooms and male and female latrines. The building includes all utility systems, HVAC and control systems, fire protection measures. Sitework includes all utilities and utilidor connections, parking, landscaping, exterior lighting, etc. Following occupancy of the new facility the project includes demolition of Bldg 4365 which involves hazmat abatement.
