offers for the purchase of at least one vehicle to be exported to South
America. This procurement is a small business set aside and a
solicitation. It is a sole source procurement. No additional
information will be mailed out. Vendors with questions may fax directly
to the Contracting Officer listed above. Vendors are requested to
submit two separate offers -- one offer for a 1999 model and one offer
for a year 2000 model. Each offer must contain respective delivery
dates and pricing. The vehicle required is a GMC Safari SLE van,
standard package to include, but not limited to an engine vortec 4300
cc, v6, left hand drive, with sfi system, all wheel drive, wheel
antilock brakes (abs) system, transmission shift interlock, speed
sensitive power transmission shift interlock, speed sensitive power
steering, 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission,
speedodometeter-odometer-trip odometer voltmeter, independent front
suspension, standard 8 -passenger, safety belts front centerand rear
seat fabric custom cloth, seat front reclining high-back bucket seats
w/lumbar support, map pockets, armrest and adjustable head restraints,
seats-center removable 3-passenger bench, seats-rear removable
3-passenger bench, steering wheel custom steering wheel in graphite,
tilt capability and cruise control, tires all season blackwall
steel-belted radial tires, wheels chrome appearance, owner catalog.
Parts catalog, repair manual, air conditioner, am/fm stereo radio
cassette, color:Tropic Green clearcoat metallic. Offer both the
unleaded and leaded gasoline engines with respective pricing for each
type. The Govt. will make an award to the responsible offeror whose
offer conforms to the solicitation contained herein and is most
advantageous to the government, that which represents the Best Value to
the Govt., cost or price and other factors including time period
required for delivery to the port in Miami, FL, considered. The
combined relative merit of the technical evaluation factors listed
above will be more significant than cost or price in the selection of
the contractor. While the cost or price factor has no numerical weight,
it is a criterion in the overall evaluation of proposals. Furthermore,
the proposed cost or price must be reasonable and reflect technical
requirements. The Government may award to other than the lowest priced
offer. In the event that two or more offers are technically
equivalent, the cost/price and delivery time will be primarily
important. Total prices quoted must be FOB price to Miami, FL. Note
that all offers must be received by the Contracting Officer no later
