The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Washington DC (FISCNORDETWASH) has a requirement in support of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Detachment (PESO), Annapolis, MD for a semi-automated parts wash system (QTY-1), to remove graphite particles and coolant residue from components prior to coating. All persons involved with system design, component handling, training and installation shall hold a security clearance of "SECRET" or better. The contractor shall provide on-site training for a minimum of at least 5 days. Delivery will be FOB destination to the Alliant Missile Products Company, LLC, WV. The type of contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. Installation shall be the responsibility of the contractor. The proposed contract is being considered as a 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns, as defined by FAR clause 52.219-6. Interested Small Businesses should provide the contracting office as early as possible, but not later than 8 Oct 99, evidence of their capability to perform the contract, and a positive statement of their eligibility as a small business.
